• Special shape for sliding horseshoes – allows for firm and precise attachment of the horseshoe without damaging the material.

• Precise manufacturing by MUSTAD – each nail is perfectly straight, with a uniform head and sharp tip for easy hammering.

• Optimal length and diameter (4.5) – ideal for most slider-type reining horseshoes.

• Pack of 250 pieces – an economical solution for professional use in the forge and in the field.

• High-quality steel – resistant to bending, deformation, and corrosion, ensuring a long service life even with frequent use.

Why choose MUSTAD SLIDER horseshoes?

The MUSTAD brand is a global leader in farriery supplies. The SLIDER model was developed in collaboration with professional farriers to meet all the requirements of sport horses. These nails ensure a secure fit while allowing natural movement and easy removal of the horseshoe when replacing it.

Recommendations for use

• Use exclusively with sliding horseshoes (e.g., Double S Slider or Kerckhaert Sliding Plate).

• When hammering, ensure the correct angle of entry into the hoof so that the attachment is secure and tension-free.

• Store in a dry environment, away from direct moisture – this will extend the life of the nails.

• Always check the condition of the nails before use – damaged pieces may affect the quality of the fastening.

Summary

MUSTAD SLIDER 4.5 horseshoes are a professional tool that combines quality, precision, and practical durability. They are the ideal choice for farriers working with reining and sport horses, where every detail counts.
